Are all lawn treatments the same the same? Absolutely not! That’s like saying all meals are the same. Some places give you just a small burger, some give you a small burger and a few fries, and some give you a small burger, a few fries and a drink. At Storm… The Lawn Pro, we give you the full “ All you can eat” thirty different items, “come back as many time as you want” buffet, plus soup and salad bar, and free refills on your drink, and a complete dessert table! And generally speaking, we do it for less!

Our yard never looked so good as it does now, since we started with Stacy storm the lawn pro thank you!

Treatment #1 Some companies give you a very low grade fertilizer consisting of only a little nitrogen, putting on only 1/2 pound or so per 1,000 square feet of turf, and call it a treatment. Some give you only a pre-emergent for crabgrass and call that a treatment. At Storm the Lawn Pro, you receive a full balanced ,time released, granular fertilizer. Plus, a pre-emergent mixed in, to stop most annual grasses and weeds from germinating. This is applied at approximately 5 pounds per square feet of turf. That’s 5-10 times more of a much better product.

Treatment #2 Some Companies apply just one type of weed control and watered down version of that, and call it a treatment. Some apply a little liquid nitrogen fertilizer and call that a Treatment. Some mix a little of both, and call that a treatment. At Storm the Lawn Pro, you receive three different types of weed control mixed together, to give you control of a much wider array of weeds. Plus, I mix it at the very top rate which is three times stronger than most other companies. I add a speader/sticker to make the weed control adhere to the weeds in almost any kind of weather, to give you a quicker knockdown power. Then I add a water soluble fertilizer to give your lawn a healthy green up. As a free bonus for 5-step customers, I go over your entire lawn with a heavy helping of a fully balanced, time-released granular fertilizer which feeds your lawn for the next 6-8 weeks. A completely free treatment you won’t get from any other company.

Treatment #3 Some Companies give you a little nitrogen fertilizer and call that a treatment. Most won’t even tell you what they applied and then call it a summer maximizer or a booster. At Strom the Lawn Pro, we apply a completely balanced slow release granular fertilizer. This contains nitrogen and potassium, plus iron and micro-nutrient package mixed in which contains copper, zinc, manganese and other biological and organic substances. Treatment #3 has a 75% slow release rate, giving you the green without the growth, releasing every time you water or when it rains for the next 6-8 weeks, and at a rate 5 to 10 times more than any other companys slow release in big letters…only to find out they are only 6% to 20% slow release. Plus I spot treat any existing weeds I see; something no other company does during this treatment.

Treatment #4 Because temperatures and growing conditions are very similar during treatment four, as when I did treatment two, the applications are very much the same, including another absolutely free treatment of a completely balanced time release granular fertilizer. Again, you will never get with any other company. Some companies say they are “going green” and just apply a little granular nitrogen only fertilizer during treatments two and four. They say they will spot treat any weeds they see, being earth friendly. Let me tell you, during treatments two and four, the conditions for growing weeds are tremendous, and there are dozens upon dozens that are so small, they will miss them completely. That’s why I apply another blanket coverage of weed control over the entire turf area, getting even the smallest of out-of-site weeds. My weed control works like a plant growth hormone, making the weed grow so fast its roots explode and it dies. Plus, what’s not adsorbed by the weed is eaten up by the microbes in the soil and disappear. Now that’s going green.

Treatment #5 Is a winterizer for your lawn. Every lawn care company knows you need a winterizer…but just calling it that doesn’t make it so. After talking with the companies that treat lawns in the Manitowoc County (including some out of town companies from Green Bay, Appleton, Little Chute, etc.) here’s what I found: some have no idea what they are putting on (or will not tell the customer); some have only four steps and no winterizer; some said they applied whatever they have left laying around from round 3 and some put on the cheapest they could find from wholesalers, and very little, if any, slow release. At Storm… The Lawn Pro, we applied a heavy helping of a custom made premium winterizing fertilizer. This is a very important time released balanced treatment (24-0-20) with an emphasis on potash which supplies potassium for winter hardiness, disease resistance and general durability. This premium winterizing fertilizer is vital to the health and vigor of your lawn and not one other company will spend the extra money to do this.

The quality of the products you use, far exceeds anything we've ever bought at the local stores. Our lawn started looking better after the first treatment and continues to improve. The lawn never looked so good!

You guys do such a great job on my lawn, I recommended you to my neighbor. I told him I would not go with any other company. He plans on calling you so his lawn can look as great as mine! Thank you.

LOOK!

There’s more!

I am so very pleased with the way my lawn looks, has never been this way since I've been living here. Best thing I've done was to hire you guys to take care of it. Thank you.

Some companies charge customers extra for tree and shrub fertilizer injections in the ground. This is just a grab at your hard earned money as so little of the fertilizer will reach the roots. Every professor of turf I know will tell you that with a 5-Step program (like the one we use here at Storm…The Lawn Pro) your trees and shrubs get all they need from the treatments. Any other feeding is a waste of your money.

Some companies include a blanket coverage of liquid insecticide at all homes. This should never happen as it can hurt the ecosystem. Insecticides should only be applied if your turf area has a history of infestation levels of certain insects doing damage. Then and only then, should you have a preventative insecticides applied each year.

Each year literally hundreds of families and businesses in Manitowoc County switch to Storm… The Lawn Pro for the obvious, which has been mentioned throughout this newsletter. This is why Storm… The Lawn Pro treats more lawns in Manitowoc County than all other lawn care companies combined.

Thanks for Thinking of switching to Storm…The Lawn Pro, where your lawn won’t just get a small burger and fries… but a complete “all you can eat” buffet plus!
